About Tailwaggers . . .

At Tailwaggers we are committed to providing quality services with lots and lots of TLC.

In other words, we are all dog lovers, and most of our regular customers come in wagging their tails, happy to see us again.

Our groomers have over 30 years' combined grooming experience and are happy to style your dog according to your most exacting instructions, or simply, as some owners like to say, "just make him cute!"

We keep our place squeaky clean and shiny.  Our shop is newly remodeled. We use pure, natural orange oil deodorizers so it's always fresh smelling.

Our equipment is state of the art.  We use the Prima Bathing System which deep cleans your dog's coat, providing a hydromassage to stimulate circulation and loosen dirt and dead hairs, leaving the coat super clean.

Drying is accomplished with forced-air dryers; we use no heat so there is no risk of burns or dehydration.  It takes a bit longer this way, but we think it's worth it.  The holding cages are stainless steel with woven floors so no dog ever has to sit in urine or anything else unpleasant.

Tailwaggers provides a number of extra services which you can read about in detail in our Services link.  Some of these include a de-shedding program, our popular cherry re-moisturizing treatment, flea and tick dips, and applications of Frontline Plus.

We offer Frontline, Advantix and Heartgard at great prices, too.  Check out our showroom while you're here, and pick up a new leash or doggie treats without having to make a special trip to the pet shop.

We have an "open-door policy" at Tailwaggers.  While we actually do keep the doors closed for the dogs' safety, they are made of glass, so you can always see what's going on inside.  We are happy to give you the 50-cent tour because we know you'll like what you see.

Tailwaggers proudly works with local pet rescue organizations to participate in the efforts to find loving homes for homeless and unwanted dogs.  We showcase dogs in our shop who are for adoption, participate in fundraising activities, and provide free grooming services to rescue dogs to help them get adopted more easily.
